The story revolves around one fateful game of poker on a normal Thursday night. Chris, Jake and Frankie await their friend Pete, who will soon arrive after picking up a new player. As they await their tardy friend, Breaking News flashes across the TV, reporting that a local, unidentified pedophile is still on the loose. The report is accompanied by a sketch drawing of the suspect.
Finally Pete arrives, chips in one hand, dip in another and a big smile on his face. When he introduces his friend, Fran, Chris, Jake and Frankie can’t help but gasp as Fran turns out to look exactly like the sketch drawing…

Dynamite was the first major project I ever completed in LA, a mini-doc on professional Muay Thai fighter, Victor Saravia. I followed him for the month leading up to his biggest fight of his young career and learned about his upbringing, his family and his motivation to be the best Muay Thai fighter of all time.
Dynamite never made a festival run as I do not own the music.
